Hi, I’m Andrew
Mayor of Edmonton
Together with City Council, I'm building a stronger, safer, more affordable city that Edmontonians are proud to call home.
My Priorities for Edmonton
We can build a stronger Edmonton, but we have to work together to do it. In collaboration with City Council, we have worked with City Council to have created a number of shared goals that will be our focus over the next four years. Together, we can achieve more for all Edmontonians.
My Recent Advocacy
Strong cities are built through strong partnerships at every level of government. As Mayor, I collaborate with municipal, provincial, and federal leaders to advance our city’s priorities. This includes writing letters to other orders of government outlining our needs, challenges, and opportunities. Explore my recent advocacy efforts on issues that matter most to our community.

Land Acknowledgement
While I often express aspirations for the City’s present and future status, it is imperative to also acknowledge our history, and the painful legacies and ongoing consequences of settler colonialism against Indigenous communities, that has shaped Edmonton’s story.
First and foremost, I acknowledge that the traditional land on which we live, work and share joy in is situated in Treaty Six Territory - the ancestral homeland of Indigenous People’s, such as the nêhiyaw (Cree), Dené, Anishinaabe (Saulteaux), Nakota Isga (Nakota Sioux), and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), who have stewarded this territory for centuries. I also acknowledge Edmonton as the Métis’ homeland and the home of one of the largest communities of Inuit south of the 60th parallel.
With the privilege to lead Edmonton, I want to emphasize that our city is committed to the journey of reconciliation, rectifying the harm and generational effects of settler colonialism, ushering in a future that promises a place for all peoples to share Edmonton as a home.
Together we call upon all of our collective, honoured traditions and spirits to work in building a great city for today and future generations.
